I am your Inspired Coach, a life coach whose perfect client is a Generation X or Y woman with a J.D. who wants to find her power, her authenticity and her success in a male-dominated profession where she's not quite sure how to carve her niche and shine as an intelligent, capable, beautiful woman and lawyer. I use success principles to help woman lawyers overcome limiting beliefs and create personal and professional success by getting very clear about their strengths, talents, values, and goals and introducing them to powerful ways to align themselves with what they want, fine tuning the
process by which they create the career and life of their dreams.
As
founder of Secret Garden Coaching and Dana, J.D., my mission is to help young women with J.D.s to align with their
values by coaching them to own their lives, their choices and their passions,
to give themselves the peace of mind and permission to be authentic, to care
for themselves and to take pride in the path they have chosen and what they are
crafting out of their J.D.s and with their lives so that they may contribute to the world in a way that inspires others and revolutionizes the legal profession as we know it. I want my clients to love what they are creating, to step fully into being the woman they are, and to be happy, above all else.
I draw from my strong intuition and a combination of personal and professional experience,
training, philosophy and laws of physics, specifically, the law of attraction. I use a host of success principles to
help you create momentum and manifest your desires. The inspiration for my niche arose from my own experience working in a law firm jobs that drained me of energy and spirit, and didn't give me the right opportunities to shine. Through my determination to define success on my own terms and live in alignment with my passion and values, I finally
discovered that using success and attraction principles as well as extreme self-care in my life really does work, even in creating the business of my dreams! Follow my blog, Inspired Coach. I am the author of over forty articles related to creating and living the life you dream of.
Up until Spring of 2009, I coached while continuing to practice law in the area of insurance defense. I launched my own legal practice in Fall of 2010, and I strive to walk my talk. While studying for the bar exam, I taught high school math to ninth through twelfth graders.
I am constantly reading, taking courses and updating my resources and education to be on the leading edge for my clients. I was certified by Coach Training Alliance in Boulder, Colorado. I am a graduate of Loyola University School of Law in New Orleans, Louisiana. I am also a graduate of The American University School of International Service in Washington, D.C., graduating cum laude,
earning a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations with emphasis on
International Communication, Peace & Conflict Resolution and Middle
Eastern Studies.
I was born and raised in Kenosha,
Wisconsin, the northern-most suburb of Chicago. I currently reside in Wisconsin in a historic home with my two frisbee dogs. I
spend a great deal of time having fun with my sweetheart, David.
